Has Rover been acting up lately?
Has Miss Kitty been more temperamental?
Well, maybe they need to be blessed! Yes, “blessed” at Bethany United Methodist Church.
Each pet will also receive a St. Francis medallion.

| For the past 6 years, Bethany has held a “Blessing of the Pets” on the church lawn under the big oak trees. Our special guests in the past have included Radar-The Weather Dog, Guide Dog Organizations, Rescue Groups, and the Houston Mounted Police and their handsome horses. This year, one of our special guests will be “Rummy", the blind husky rescued from abuse. |

Although we can't claim any miraculous reversals in behavior of the pets that are blessed, we can testify that owners and pets spend quality time together. Also, there will be face painting and animal balloons–-all FREE. |
|
So make plans to attend with your pet or a photo of your pet and your camera for those new pics.
Donations of pet food will be accepted to give to area animal rescue shelters.
